Why There Is A Bump On My Tongue Where I Have Bitten?

I bit my tounge and its been three days. In the morning it swelled up and then it goes down but where I bit my tongue stays swollen and looks like a bump and on the top is blood like red color. Should I be worried about a bad infection or is of just healing. It feels like a bump nd bursed bad? What do I do
