Why There Is A Difficulty For Sexual Intercourse For The First Time?

My partner and are both vergins and tried to have sex for the first time today. We tried using a condom but it was really tight and kept coming off. As I am on the pill we decided to not use a condom. We tried numourous times to have sex but it wouldn t fit. We also had to keep making his penis hard again, as in the time it took to try and get it in it kept going soft. We have up and he didn t cum. Afterwards his penis went purple. It went down about an hour later. Is he okay?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Dear service user,
Thanks for writing to healthcaremagic.
I understand your concern regarding your partner's difficulty in using condom.
To use condom properly, one has to unroll it on erect penis with one hand holding tip with another hand pinch. One should be careful to ensure that there is air in tip of condom. So, ejaculated semen can be collected inside it and condom does not get torn.
The difficulty can be overcome when one practices it regularly.
Both of you can consult your psychiatrist who can assist you to learn proper use of condom with the help of dummy or artificial penis.
The erectile failure during subsequent attempts is likely due to anxiety of being failed to have successful coitus. This can be overcome with psycho sexual behavior therapy with a trained psychiatrist.
I think this will help you.
Kindly feel free to ask if you have queries.
Wish you good health.
