Why There Is Too Much Saliva Production With A Scratchy Throat And Clogged Nose ?

I can't sleep, because i produce too much saliva. My throat is scratchy and hurts, and my nose is clogged so i can't breathe through it very well. It's impossible to sleep, and I think the cold weather is to blame for all of this. Is there anything I can do to stop the excess saliva? I've tried eating peanuts, gargling salt, spitting it out as it comes, and brushing my teeth. Nothing seems to do anything.

Hi, i have read your query and you are suffering from 1)According to you if it is really saliva then this is an acid peptic disease with reflex esophagitis so you should take PPI with domperdone. 2) According to me you are suffering from DNS (deviation of nasal septa ) with post nasal discharge. So you should consult with ENT surgeon
