Dear Mumma,

If the scan shows 5 weeks and 6 days at 6 weeks and 5 days of pregnancy, the discrepancy is of five days. This much error is acceptable in scan reporting. The delayed ovulation and fertilization also can be the cause in error.

You will find as the pregnancy progresses, the discrepancy will become less. I do not feel there is any reason to worry.

Keep the follow up regularly.
