Why Would A Person Have A Clear "jelly-like" Discharge From

Why would a person have a clear "jelly-like" discharge from bowels on quite a regular basis? Also severe constipation even after taking miralax, "smooth moves" laxative tea and amatiza? Was told by E.R. dr after ct scan there is hernia in stomach 2 inches above navel. Drinks tons of water, eats oatmeal, apples, (gets plenty of soluable fiber). Please advise as thereis much discomfort. Thank you very much. -K.
