Why Would My Doctor Refuse To Restart My Lifelong Blood Thinner After My Brain Bleed Has Healed?

have a diagnosis of dvt since 2008...been on blood thinners since then..had recent fall causing subdural hematoma and brain bleed..hospitlized for 2 weeks...recent ct of brain indicates bleed has healed with no long term effects...specialist still wants me for follow up ct in 6 weeks...due to brain bleed been off blood thinners for 8 weeks...my physician refuses to restart my coumadin routine and primary wont prescribe...telling me that I'm "between a rock and a hard place"...have been told I will be on blood thinners for life due to dvt and genetic clotting condition...I am scared of developing more clots in legs...was off blood thinners 3 years ago and developed more clots in both legs that would not allow me to stand for more than 30 seconds till restarted coumadin....why would dr. refuse to give I nd r and prescribe meds I have been on for more than 10 years?...
