Will Duphaston Cause Increased Blood Flow During Menstruation?

hi, good morning doc.im asking about this DUPHASTON tab.after i drink this 10 tab its possible i got menstration.my past tw0 months its only looks like spoting my meanstraion.my regular is 3days.But suddenly this month i dont have meanstration come.i do pt how many time but it negative.its helps my blood come and my cycle make regular again. thanks

I understand your cocern.
Duphaston is a medicine containing hormone progesterone.It helps thickening of inner lining of uteruss.. which -
-Improves menstrual flow.
-It also helps implantation of pregnancy.. so increases chances of conception..when it failed due to less progesterone .
If you have no periods after taking Duphaston..
-there is..possibility of conception. It can be confirmed by home pregnancy test after 8 days delay in mentrmuation.
- In case pregnancy test is - ve after 8 days delay in period.. you need investigations to find cause of menstrual irregularity. It can be severe weakness/pcod/Thyroid or ovarian problem.
Consult a gynecologist.
