Will Duphaston Help In Getting Pregnant?

hi doctor, last one year i was trying to get pregnant,last month i consult an obgyn,she checked my ovulation,hsg,hormones.everything is normal.she give me duphaston after ovulation on last month but i didnt get pregnant,this month also she give me duphaston,is it necessary to take again duphaston.why she is giving me duphaston,it will help in pregnancy or not.kindly answer my question.thankyou

Hi

Duphaston should help with normalizing your menstrual cycle and to also help sustain pregnancy. If your cycles are irregular then you will first have to regularize your menstrual cycle and only then start trying to conceive. your doctor is only trying to help regularize your menstrual cycle so you can start trying to conceive.
