Will I Get My Menses After Taking Meprate?

Hi I had natural miscarriage in last June, after that I got my period on 15th July as normal, but didn t get this month till now. My doctor has suggested Maprate 10mg for 5 days(twice a day). I have started taking it today only. May I know why this is happening? When can expect my period now?
