Will I Put On Weight After Stopping The Work Outs?

Hello, I am 23 yrs, My height is approx 5.5. I am not sure of my weight but I'm not too overweight but since I would like to have a toned body am planning on joining a gym. So I would like to ask if I start working out and want to reduce my workout later or maybe stop working out will I put-on more weight and will my body become flabby as I have heard friends say that I would put-on more weight than what I lose if I stop going to the gym. Please help as I'm confused.

hello and welcome. weight gain is not complex. its simply input and output. if you eat a wholesome diet, exercise regularly and play an exertional game equivalent to gym exercise twice a week, u will maintain good weight. gym promotes increase muscle mass , just keep ur diet in order and avoid any medication eg anabolic steroid and u wont get flabby. thanx
