Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

These medicines are for vascular headache, rather than fits. These medicines generally keep the frequency of headache low. They may not cure the headache completely though. They may carry some side effects like hair loss and weight gain. Kindly consult your general physician for proper evaluation and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhishek Juneja, Neurologist
