Will Noriday Contraceptive Pill Lead To Hair Loss?

Can noriday(contraception) cause hair loss? I am losing loads of hair and I am wondering if it is the pill which i have started using 6 weeks ago. I have also used Pantene shampoo, which apparently isn t the best for hair loss wither! I have very thin hair and dont want to be bold anytime soon!!

I can understand your concern. Though hair loss is not a very common side effect of Noriday, about 10% women suffer from such problems while on Noriday. If you are having excessive hair loss and is not coming under control at all, you can consult your gynecologist to switch to other medicine or other method of contraception. You can also contact a dermatologist to figure out any other reasons related with the hair loss like stress, vitamin deficiency etc.
