Hello
Sciatic nerve passes from back to till little finger of foot .
When this nerve pinched it produces severe pain in the rout where it supply .
Omnacortril 40 mg i.e. prednisolone is a steroid and it might happen that it may relieve pain for time being ,but this is not a treatment .
When such patient visit in my clinic I usually advise them a traction at foot so that they get some relief .
In my opinion prednisolone is not a treatment .
Consult an orthopedic surgeon and get in CT SCAN and other test .
Sometimes a spine surgeon can be helpful.
Good luck.
I find this answer helpful
