Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Venlafaxine has been shown to be associated with lung complications in the new born when used in pregnancy. However, stoppage of this medication also can lead to relapse of depression. Therefore, you should discuss with your neurophysician as to the appropriate management to be undertaken. Do not start or stop this medication on your own. Please use folate supplements and take adequate rest. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
