Will A Fibrotic Scar In Chest X Ray, Affect Application For Immigrant Visa To The US?
Hi I just had chest xray done yesterday and the result showed fibrotic scar. The clinic suggested sputum smear and culture. Would it affect my application for immigrant visa to the US? I am supposed to be interviewed on the 29th of this month? Will the sputum smear and culture show a positive infection to TB?

By fibrotic scar finding in chest X-ray no one can deny visa.
It is the sequel of past infection.Fibrosis occurs during healing process.
Sputum culture will not be positive unless there is active infection.
