Will A Follicle Tracking Scan Predict Chances Of Conception?

hi, just had follicle tracking scan done y'day on day 12. Took clomid from day 2-6 , had injection also y'day and was told to try for next 36 hrs, what are my chances of conception? I'm 34, 5ft 6 and 10.5 stone. No other medical problems, hysteronogram ok, progesterone levels low

Hi,

Yes, you have a good chance of conception. Almost 20% chance with each cycle of Clomiphene. The injection, I am assuming given to you is HCG, which is given for release of egg from the ovary.
But I would like to ask you how many years are you trying to conceive ? And do you have PCOS? As usually Clomiphene is effective in PCOS. Women who are ovulating normally are not benefited by Clomiphene.
Also since your progesterone is low, I would advise you to Take Tab.Duphaston or Uterogestone vaginal pessary, from tomorrow till 14 days, up till your day of expected period, and then do a urine pregnancy test.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
