Will A Knee Brace Or Crutches Help Moving About With Painful Knees?

I have this thing with both my knees it is something like ostrich sluaters and it has come to a point where i cant stand walk or even move it sometimes and when i cant walk it is ahrd for me to move it around and i was wondering if you thought that getting a knee brace and crutches would help for those moment cause they last about a week then i can walk with a little pain then they come right back up
