Will A Muscle Cut Heal On Its Own?

about a month ago i cut my arm pretty badly on some glass (cut into my muscle and there's a small bit of nerve damage). I've gotten mixed answers on how my muscle will heal. I'm not so much concerned with the length of time it will take, but more if the muscle will heal to 100%. Muscle was never stitched, but my skin was.
