I Have A Small Lump On The Left Cheek Of My Buttocks, Kinda Near The Crack. It s Beneath The Skin And It s Not Draining Any Fluid. It s Just REALLY Painful To Sit Correctly Or Lay On My Back And It s Tender To Touch. What Could This Be And Will I Need An Operation To Resolve The Problem?

A small painful lump on left cleft butt cheek can be simply a boil or an infected sebaceous cyst. This is usually opened up in a few days on its own.
I would advise you the following::
Sterile dressing after application of liquid povidone iodine.
A short course of an antibiotic and Ibuprofen.
Consult a General Surgeon to confirm that this is boil or pilonidal sinus, as pilonidal sinus will require a formal surgery.
