Will A Small Amount Of Semen While Coitus Interruptus Lead To Pregnancy?

I am 49 and had unprotected sex two days ago with a healthy 36 yr old male. Although he pulled out before ejaculating there may have been a small amount inside me. Firstly could I be pregnant and what are the best options for abortion. I still have regular periodso and am hoping I get it next week. Thanks, jacinta

Hi
If you have regular cycles every 26-30 days the first week and the last 10 days of your cycle are safe. you don't get pregnant if you have sex during this period. You need not worry about it.
There is possibility of pregnancy if you have sex during the other days of your cycle.

Even a drop of semen is enough to get pregnant. However a woman's fertility reduces after 40 years and drastically so after 45 years. So your chances of getting pregnant are minimal. To avoid this small risk consult your doctor and take emergency contraception. These tablets need to be taken within 5 days of intercourse. The earlier you take the more effective they are.
I hope I have answered to your satisfaction.
