Will Air Travel Cause Any Blood Clots In Lungs?
Hi im 22 years old fit and healthy just 8 stone in weight and 5ft 10 tall.....just been put on clexane 100mg injection a day for 6 months because i have small blood clots in my left lung.. i am due to fly to Cuba in 6 weeks time .....am i safe to do so please help thank you

Long travels where sedentary and immobile posture for long terms are expected are always a trouble for such clots and emboli. I would say seek your hematologist and discuss the odds with him whether to fly or not, and if so what precautionary measures to take.He would advise you better what to do and what not to.
