Will Allergy To Cerelac Cause Lumps On Chest?

Hi, just wanted to know if my 9 month old may be allergic to cerelac? When she was 5months old I tired her on cerelac & she developed red lumps ond her chest & back so I resorted to a rice cereal which was fine. I ve now started her on cerelac again and she gets a few red spots on her chin after a feed which later disappears but she seems to be constipated now.. Her nose has also started running but could be due to teething! How do I know if this may be a result of food/lactose/gluten allergies or not?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, the baby appears to be allergic to the wheat, in that case, it is better to continue with the cerelac rice, and then start the semisolid diet, fruits and potato etc as early as possible.
It is not compulsory to give the cerelac, to the baby. Some people may not use these foods at all, and directly go to the traditional foods, in semi solid form.
In future also keep an eye while giving the wheat and wheat products.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
