Will Antibiotics For Chest Infection Cause Periods To Come Early?
Hi I am due my period on tuesday 24th july but i have just spotted bleeding and 2 large clots, in the toilet. I have been very regular up to now, im 42 , and I have just started antibiotics yesterday for a chest infection, can this bring the period on early or is it likely ive miscarried?

Antibiotics don't cause your period to come early, you are in perimenopausal age group so either it might be withdrawal bleeding or it may be a miscarriage. Please do urine pregnancy test to confirm.
