Will Any Kind Of Stress Be Ok When The Lower End Of Placenta Is Covering The Internal OS?

My age is 32,weight is 64 kg and height 158 cm.Now 13 weeks of pregnancy.Placenta is in anterior wall.Lower end of placenta is completely covering the internal os.Iam a school tacher,school is in front of my house.Is it compulsary to take rest.Can I go for job.Now

Hi,
Though the position of the placenta is not of much significance at this stage of pregnancy as it tends to move upward later in the course, it would be better if you can postpone your work until your placenta moves away from the os. This is because it is completely covering the os, and a chance of bleeding or spotting exists with excess strain. Please also avoid travel and intercourse. Take adequate bed rest preferably in the left lateral position. Please have regular follow up and repeat sonogram to check the position of the placenta. Wish you safe motherhood.
