Will Birth Control Pill Be Effective While Taking Senna Tea?

Hi, I drink senna tea every night because I have terrible constipation. I am starting birth control tomorrow, so will be on the pill. Will this counteract the birth control if I take the pill at night? Because it helps clean me out I am wondering whether the pill will even be effective!

Senna tea will make the birth control pill less effective. It is best to avoid senna tea while on birth control.
