Will Birth Control Pills Delay The Menstrual Cycle?

Hi, I am on a birth control pill known as femiplan. Last week on I started having spot bleeding. I was prescribed Primolut N for 30 days to take together with my birth control pill. With the pill I am scheduled to have my cycle as of Friday, January 22nd. I am just wondering will what I have been prescribed above affect my menstrual cycle, that is stop the bleeding when am supposed to have my cycle?
