Will Breaking A Tablet Before Taking Effect Its Efficacy?

Hi,



I am currently taking Ferrous Sulphate 200mgs tablets twice daily, my problem is I cannot swallow them whole, the best i have managed is to break them up and swallow the bits or chew.



They are glucose coated white pills, am i still going to get the benefits of the tablets taking them this way?
