Will Children Of Parents With Same Blood Group Have Health Issues?

Hello, my parents are telling me that two people with the same blood type shouldn't have children because it will cause health problems for the children. I'm concerned because this guy I am seeing is the same blood type as me, B +. Are my parents correct, or are they misinformed?

The marriage in the same blood group is absolutely okay.
Genetic problem are more common when there is marriage between close blood relatives like cousins, step children and some Gotras in Hindus.
Rh- women when marry Rh+ men may have trouble of hemolysis in babies of second onward pregnancies but that is not a long term consequences.
