Will Coming In Contact With Salt And Ice Has Any Effect On Skin Colour ?

Well, I was really dumb and I did the salt and ice challenge. I think it healed. Not sure, but its been 3 weeks or so and there is a white mark on my skin where I put the ice. Is there anyway I can get rid of it, or will it eventually go back to its normal color?

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.

The white mark on your skin is post inflammatory hypopigmentation due to injury your skin has suffered. It may take weeks or months to recover, but most likely it will get back to its normal colour.

Apply sunscreen whenever you are going out to that area to prevent further damage.
If you do not see improvement few months from now, see a dermatologist and discuss repigmentation options like melgain or phototherapy.

Hope I helped
