Will Discontinuing Pills Restart Irregular Periods With Continuous Bleeding?

me and my partner want to start a family and try for a baby iv been on the pill for two years and i want to come off.....im worried because before i went on the pill i had irregular periods what meant i was always bleeding continuously for about 2 years until i went to the doctors and he put me on the pill to regulate my period im worried if i come off the pill that my period will go back to what it use to be and ill just bleed all the time does anyone ad any advice????
