Will Doing Surgery Correct My Vision Problem?

Hi, I want to know if there is any surgery out that can fix my vission, I was in a car accident as an infent and hit my head on the dashboard which damaged my optic nerves in both eyes. I am now visually impaired I am now 22 years old and I'm still trying to see if there is any surgery that will correct my vission?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had optic nerve damage following injty yo the eye.
Optic nerve is the only cranial nerve in our body which cannot regenerate once degenerates hence the vision loss caused by optic nerve damage is usually irreversible.
However treatment is possible to decrease the damage during acute phase.
Since you had injury long back as of now no surgery will rectify this but you can go for nutritional supplements or low visual aids.
