Will Drinking Kerosene In Childhood Have Any Effect On Health Now?

Hello, i just got to know yesterday that my husband (30 yrs) drank kerosene when he was 3 years old and afterwards he vomitted but he was not taken to any doctor. My question is will there be any effect of kerosene poisoning in my husband's health now? And, if yes, then what should we do now as I am very worried.

Hi

Relax. Nothing will happen to your Husband's health.

Kerosene ingestion in his childhood, if severe enough, would have resulted in problems then only. Since he was not even taken to a doctor, it means there was nothing much to worry at that time.

Do not read the internet and get worked up with complications of kerosene ingestion. Usually all the complications are for short term. Since your husband did not have those short term problems too, there is absolutely nothing to worry.

Hope my answer helps.
Have a good day.
