Will Hernia Effect Testicles?
my boyfriend feels like he may have a Hermia. He has pain in his lower stomach and for a month his right testicle was swollen. The swelling has gone down but now his testicles is really tight and close to his body. If he had a Hermia would it effect one testicle?

IF this is a hernia the welling has classical finding that it is always expansible , meaning it enlarges on coughing and straining. IT reduces when pressed in without pain. If his swelling has these characters this was a hernia , otherwise not.
IF this is not - he has to undergo ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum and abdominal wall and abdomen to get a correct diagnosis and further treatment . This can be a cancer f the testicle.
