Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

A high protein intake has been shown to accelerate kidney damage in people who have kidney disease. However, higher protein diets don't adversely affect kidney function in healthy people. There is also a slight risk for developing kidney stones while you are high protein diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
