Will I Be Getting Periods During Placebo Week Of Birth Control?

Hi. I just started birth control again last Sunday. Which should be around mid cycle or towards the end of my cycle. Will I be getting my period during placebo week? And is the birth control an effective contraception this month? If not, will I be protected during the next pack?

as u have started pills from middle of the cycle...first 7 days u should maintain contraception by condoms as well...yes u wil be protected in your next pack..if u take it regularly every 24 hrs...placebo week is for periods...
