Will I Get Infected After Circumcision?

Hi, this might be an odd sort of question, but here goes nothing. I have a circumcised penis, and whenever I get an erection, I noticed that on a little part of the head and where the foreskin is connected to the penis, it is starting to come off. I m scared it will get infected. Should I get it checked out by a doctor? Please help :-(. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If it comes off and that area is painful and reddish, you can feel irritation during your cleaning process of genitals then need to meet a doctor in person. If it is not, it can be smegma or small skin tag because of circumcision.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
