Will I Get Pregnant After Follicular Study?

Hello Doctor

This is second month of my Follicular Study. All the reports are normal

Doctor has ruptured my egg on the 15 day of periods with the egg size of 20 mm and prescribed the Progynova & Gestofit 300 SR for 15 days.

Can this treatment will really help me in getting pregnant.

Hello and thanks for the query,

Yes if the egg has ruptured, the other drugs are given to create a conducive environment for the baby to come and get implanted in the uterus in case pregnancy occurs. As you have said that all reports are normal I assume that the tubes are open, cervix is all right and semen analysis of husband was OK.

It is not a guarantee that you will become pregnant but chances are good. Try to keep regular sexual contact after rupture of egg for maximum chances.

If this is not successful, an intrauterine insemination [ direct instillation of husbands processed sperm inside the mothers uterus] procedure may be tried in next cycle to optimize results.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
