Will Ice Reduce Swelling And Pain Due To Arm Infection?

I got an infection on my arm, went to the dr and it s cellulitis. I am taking the antibiotics as prescribed and trying not to use it as much as possible. It s still swollen and painful , I m wondering if I could put ice on it to help the swelling and numb the pain? Thank you

Hi,
As you got cellulitis, take regular medicines prescribed by your doctor.
Do not hesitate taking this medicine, otherwise you will have more infection worsening the condition.
Apply ice pack locally.
Ok and take care.
