Will Injury In Eye After Hitting Be A Permanent One?

My son s eyes got hit by a soccer ball, since then his eyes is swelling and he sees the things foggy with that eye. I took him to the Optometrist to check him and she said there is a little spot in the upper part of the eyes injured and thats why the eye is swelling. But what concerns me is that she said i am not sure if it will be permenant or he will see well as soon as the swelling is healed as well as the injury from inside...

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
His eye need to be checked by ophthalmologist. The injury can damage cornea, lens, vitreous, retina. treatment is to be decided according to part ofeye injured.
