Will Intake Of Norethisterone Stop The Periods Once Bleeding Has Started?

My period was due on 5 days ago and end before my holiday. I got spotting and cramps but for the last 5 days just spotting. Now it s 2 days before my holiday and the bleeding just started. Shall I take noerthisterone now? Will it stop once proper bleeding has started?

Hello welcome to HCM. Now already bleeding started. This says the progesterone hormone in body has dipped down causing bleeding. You were supposed to take same hormone in the form of tablet to stop bleeding. so now if you start also by the time the hormone levels go up that level where it can stop bleeding you would have almost finished half of your holidays. So for my patients i ask them not to take now.
