Will Intake Of Alcohol 16 Hours Prior The Time Of Test For Stress Affect?

HI am scheduled for a stress test today and was told i can't drink caffeine today. However, I did drink wine with dinner last night and didn't even think about the test today untill now, 16 hours later. Will the alcohol affect the stress test that I am scheduled to take?

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
For 12 hours before the stress test, patients are advised not to eat, drink or smoke, not to drink caffeine or alcohol at your last meal before your test.Ideally the alcohol in any form must be avoided 12 hours before the test.Since 16 hrs have passed it should not have any effect.Take care!
