Will Intake Of Painkillers During Pregnancy Harm The Baby?

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant i am scheduled to get my wisdom tooth extracted in a few days, my OB gave my dentist the ok to prescribe analgesics for pain , I myself am worry since I haven t taken anything for pain my entire pregnancy, besides Tylenol for headaches, my OB also says oxycodone is safe to take (allergic to other medicine) my question is if I take any pain medicine (during recovery only) will it harm my baby during the last months what about L&D?

Hi, I think you should avoid taking oxycodone as it is a category C drug. Only if the pain is so severe that it can't be relieved by paracetamol, you can take it. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
