Had nodules of fat necrosis removed due to post surgery complications (breast reconstruction of left breast with latissmus flap only in 2009), post surgery complications present since surgery--08-26-2011. Symptoms after 2011 surgery are tinglling on left side of tongue, hematoma or seroma, rash surrounding surgery site(painful and itchy), first set of bumps resembled chicken pox and second set of bumps resembled dermatitis. Received antibiotics for the latter, and antivirals for the former. Hematoma was drained 9-12-11. 9-15-11 full blown rash resembling dermatitis(dx from ER concluded contact dermatitis possibly herpes zoster virus, whereas antibiotics were prescribed. 9-19-11 visit revealed upcoming hematoma, rash took priority and antivirals were prescribed, to return 10-10-11. 10-10-11 visit revealed hematoma in full, still had residual affects of rash resembling chicken pox, but no treatment in force nor was there an attempt to drain the hematoma. to date, 10-15-11, I still have hematoma and residual itching that I treat with calamine lotion.
