Will Logynon Be Effective In Preventing Pregnancy?

Hi, I',m 28 years old, 5ft5inches and 68kg. Me and my husband are living and working in Kuwait, where no emergency contraception is available. Our protection failed last night and someone said that I could take 4 'Logynon' tablets now (12 hours later) and another 4 after a further 12 hours. Logynon is available to buy over the counter here.
Will this be effective? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Yes, you can take Logynon as emergency contraceptive pills, 4 stat and 4 pills after 12 hours. Levonorgestrel level should be 1mg to prevent pregnancy.
