Will Loose Motions During Pregnancy Affect The Health Of Fetus?

Hi doctor. Iam 31weeks & have had frequent motions almost throughout pregnancy (5-6 times/day). Its mix of normal,costipated & at times loose motion. But since 2 days i have loose motions. Around 9 times within 24 hrs. Baby's movements are good. But worried it shouldnt upset its health. Please help.

The presence of loose stools is unlikely to cause harm to the fetus, regardless of the cause. On the other hand, it can be a sign of labor - so if you are having any contractions or pelvic pressure, then you need to be seen at once. In addition, you need to get a culture of the stool to make sure there are not infections or parasites.
