Hello,
Monitor your
heart rate and rhythm daily. Avoid taking caffeine and alcohol. Also avoid taking too much exertion; do not exert yourself. Stay hydrated, especially if on diuretics. If anxiety is clearly linked to symptoms, lorazepam taken for short term can help, but don't stay on it long-term without a plan to taper.
In case you feel dizzy or experience
chest pain,
shortness of breath, or notice a pulse below 50 or over 100 bpm consistently. Get clinically examined by a local doctor. If bruising worsens or
abdominal pain intensifies, then also get clinically examined by a GP. Taking Lorazepam does not treat the cause of arrhythmias or regulate heart rhythm directly.
Since your heart rhythm became irregular after stopping medications, get tests done to check Electrolytes (Na, K, Mg, Ca), ECG or 24-hour
Holter monitor. Liver function tests (ALT, AST, bilirubin) should also be done, as you have been experiencing upper abdominal pains. Ultrasound abdomen if pain persists, and BP monitoring is a must.
I hope I have answered your question. Take care.

Dr. Nupur K.
