Will Losing Weight Help Me Get Rid Of Spinal Problems?

Hi I'm 20 years of age and currently my weight is 120kg and I have recently found out that I have a very minor posterocentral disk bulging without significant compression in the L4/5 and also a mild to moderate focal posterocentral disk protrusion slightly to the left of the midline which is slightly indenting the anterior aspect of the thecal sac but isn't causing narrowing of the canal.

My question is what can I do to help control this and will losing weight get rid of this problem?
