Will Low B-12 Along With Pains And Dizziness Be Due To Lyme Disease?

I think I may have lyme disease. I have been treated for vertigo, inner ear infection, fluid behind left ear drum, tingling and numbness in my feet and legs, severe headaches, dizziness, back pain along my spine and in back of my neck...dx as being arthritis, I feel depressed, and fatiqued, and my B-12 is very low and was my Vit. D...I have been told that low b-12 can also be a sign of Lyme Disease. I do live in the country. I have felt bad and been sick for several months, made many trips to the Dr. Still feel horrible. Regardless of your symptoms, I recommend that a few lab tests should be done to confirm Lym'es disease.

a. Serology: screening ELISA for anti-Lyme antibody with positive titres confirmed by Western blot.

b. PCR for Borrelia burgdorferi

If you have any history of tick bite, followed by erythema migrans, you can get started for treatment of Lym's disease without waiting for the serology results. Doxycycline or Amoxicillin PO for 28 days should treat Lyme's disease. If arthritis persists, IV Ceftriaxone for 2 weeks is recommended.
