Will Medicines For Premenapause Mood Swings Cause Weight Gain?

I was prescribed medrooxyprogesterone 5 mg and Estradiol 1 mg for pre menapause mood swings and hot flashes. I am 49 years old and I still have my uterus. My question is will these meds cause weight gain? I have been watching my weight for ten years and I really don t want to gain weight. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
