Will Mental Stress Leads To Irregular Periods?
Hello. I am a 31 year old healthy woman. I always have regular periods. I am on day 13 of my cycle and have noted bleeding over the last 24 hours, not spotting. I took an emergency pill on day 4 of my cycle after being intimate with my husband. I am also under emotional stress as my grandmother passed away 48 hours back. Could any of these be a cause? I have never had this problem before.

Yes psychological stress can cause menstrual irregularity by causing hormonal imbalance.But you present bleeding seems to be withdrawal bleeding due to the emergency pill you had taken along with stress due to sad demise of your grand mother.
Whatever the cause is you may get comming month delayed by a week .It will come back to normal within a couple of months.
